Pool Rummy
This is the long game. You keep playing until someone crosses a fixed point limit, usually 101 or 201, and once you hit that, you're out. If you like games where you can actually think a few moves ahead, this one's for you.
Points Rummy
The quick one. One deal, one winner, done. Every point has a fixed value attached to it. Good pick if you just want to play a round or two without committing to a long session.
Deals Rummy
Here you play a set number of deals, could be 2, 3 or 6 depending on the table. Chips get handed out after each deal, and whoever's got the most chips by the end wins.
So Which One Should You Pick?
Just starting out
Go with Points Rummy first. Rules are simple and rounds don't drag on.
Like planning ahead
Pool Rummy rewards patience and longer-term thinking.
Want consistency
Deals Rummy is good if you want to prove yourself over a fixed number of rounds instead of one lucky hand.
